He came into Saturday's race off an allowance/optional-claiming win going the Leonatus distance at Turfway on Dec. 2. The $74,616 winner's share of the Leonatus purse increased his lifetime bankroll to $184,806. Bred in Kentucky by BHMFR LLC, Funtastic Again was purchased for $60,000 as a weanling at the 2020 Keeneland November breeding stock sale, where Hunter Valley Farm consigned.
