Photos Of The Week: Stars Shine At Churchill Downs

With a Triple Crown accomplished, how can American Pharoah further cement his legacy?

With a Triple Crown accomplished, how can American Pharoah further cement his legacy?

Churchill Downs hosted a big night of racing on Saturday with four graded stakes races on the card.

However, it wasn't 'just' the four big races that brought over 28,000 people to the track on a steamy Saturday night - it was a chance to see Triple Crown hero American Pharoah, who was paraded after the fifth race. The champion's connections - trainer Bob Baffert, jockey Victor Espinoza, and the Zayat family - were all on hand for the celebrations, during which they all received their engraved Kentucky Derby trophies.

The G1 Stephen Foster Handicap was the highlight of the racing card and it didn't disappoint, as the up-and-coming Noble Bird held off the late challenge of Lea for the win.
