Kentucky Downs To Enable Donations To Grayson-Jockey Club Foundation During Meet
Kentucky Downs announced today that it will be promoting support of Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation among horsemen during its September meet, which kicks off Sept. 7 and runs for six days through Sept. 16.
Through this partnership, Kentucky Downs will enable owners to donate to Grayson by designating a percentage of purse money won or a flat fee per starter. Owners can direct the horsemen’s bookkeeper to allocate funds from their accounts to Grayson through InCompass Solutions’ Track Manager system, and paper forms will be available for owners to fill out in the racing office. Kentucky Downs is kicking off donations with a lead gift of $2,500.
In previous years, Kentucky Downs has hosted a Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation Day on behalf of the organization.
