The 5-year-old gelding underwent successful surgery to repair bilateral sesamoid fractures to his right-front leg in mid-December, and will continue his recovery at the Payton Training Center in Ocala, Fla. The two-time graded stakes winner captured the 2019 editions of the G3 Hal's Hope and G2 Gulfstream Park Mile under Pletcher's care. A son of Corinthian bred in Pennsylvania, Prince Lucky was injured in the Dec. 14 Harlan's Holiday at Gulfstream. Through 16 starts, Prince Lucky earned seven victories and $607,570.
