Friday’s Card At Aqueduct Features $31,585 Pick 6 Carryover

Friday's card at the Aqueduct Racetrack spring meet will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $31,585 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Thursday's eight-race card.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $3,509.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

The sequence kicked off in Race 3, a seven-furlong $40,000 claimer for older fillies and mares, as Jaime Torres piloted Baba [No. 5, $18.80] to victory for trainer Oscar Barrera, III and owner K Five Stable.

Dylan Davis piloted the Linda Rice-trained Glory Road [No. 3, $3.10*] to a rallying score in Race 4 – a six-furlong $32,000 claimer for older horses.

Gallagher's Stud's Olympic Dreams [No. 4, $33.20] earned a second career conquest for trainer Patrick Quick in Race 5 – a nine-furlong allowance test for New York-breds 3-years-old and upward. Trevor McCarthy was aboard for the journey.

Ronald P. Stewart's Winter Pool [No. 7, $3.40*], trained by Linda Rice, earned his fifth triumph in Race 6, a nine-furlong $12,500 claimer for older horses. Eric Cancel piloted the son of Curlin.

In Race 7, a nine-furlong allowance optional claimer for older horses, Dylan Davis guided Anejo [No. 3, $19.80] to victory for trainer Doug O'Neill and owner Calumet Farm.

With only one horse covered in the Race 8 finale, Maddy Olver rode the Gary Sciacca-trained Sweetie [No. 3, $71.50] to a late-rallying victory in the six-furlong maiden special weight for fillies and mares 3-years-old and upward.

Friday's Pick 6 will kick off in Race 3 at 2:24 p.m. Eastern and features the Grade 3 Distaff Handicap in Race 7. First post for the eight-race card is 1:20 p.m. Eastern.
