A berth in the FanDuel Breeders' Cup Mile (G1) will be on the line on Monday at Santa Anita in the $500,000 Shoemaker Mile (G1), one of three Grade 1 races on the Memorial Day card. FanDuel TV will be live from Santa Anita to kick off the first of 41 Challenge Series races in North America leading up to the 2023 Breeders' Cup which will be held November 3-4 at Santa Anita.

FanDuel TV's Todd Schrupp, Joaquin Jaime, Christina Blacker, Scott Hazelton, Britney Eurton and Andie Biancone will be reporting live from Santa Anita with exclusive interviews, insights and expert analysis throughout the holiday weekend. The probable field for the Shoemaker Mile (G1) includes a trio for trainer Phil D'Amato – Grade 1 winners Gold Phoenix (IRE) and Hong Kong Harry (GI) and graded stakes winner Balnikhov (IRE). D'Amato won four editions of the Shoemaker Mile, most recently in 2022 with Count Again.

The card will also include the $400,000 Hollywood Gold Cup (G1), run at the classic distance of 1 ¼ miles along with the $400,000 Gamely Stakes (G1) for fillies and mares on the turf.

FanDuel TV's Larry Collmus will be live from Monmouth Park throughout the Memorial Day card which features the $100,000 Mr. Prospector Stakes, a six-furlong contest for three-year-olds and upward.

In addition to racing from Santa Anita and Monmouth Park, FanDuel TV will also be featuring holiday racing from Pimlico, Golden Gate and more.
