Two-year-old filly Cruz Ramirez, a debut winner at Laurel Park yesterday (Dec. 8), is a late supplement to Fasig-Tipton Digital’s December Digital Sale.
Cruz Ramirez went wire-to-wire in maiden special weight company going six furlongs on dirt to win clear as the odds-on favorite.
Cruz Ramirez is a daughter of champion and leading young sire Good Magic, out of Ragtime Hope, a multiple stakes winner by Dixieland Band. Cruz Ramirez is a half-sister to Secret Circle, winner of the Breeders’ Cup Sprint and Group 1 Dubai Golden Shaheen on his way to career earnings of more than $3.6 million.
Cruz Ramirez is cataloged as hip 346 and consigned by Elite, agent. Bidding will close on Cruz Ramirez this Wednesday, Dec. 11.
Bidding for the December Digital Sale opened this past Thursday. Hips 1-305 close tomorrow, Dec. 10 beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Hips 306-670 close Wednesday, Dec. 11, also beginning at 12 p.m. ET.
