Castellano To Begin Serving Suspension Saturday

Javier Castellano will begin serving a seven-day careless riding suspension on Saturday, Nov. 8, according to a report in the Daily Racing Form.

Castellano received the suspension one year ago in the G3 Nashua Stakes at Aqueduct. He was aboard Intense Holiday when he maneuvered the horse to the inside, causing Tiznowforamerica's rider to check. Tiznowforamerica hit the rail and finished last. Intense Holiday finished fourth.

Castellano had fought the suspension for a year until dropping proceedings in September. He will serve the suspension from Nov. 8 - 15.
