Curlin's first winners come in Russia
Two-time Horse of the Year Curlin sired his first two winners on June 17 when Lucky First and Zimniy Dvorets both won in Russia at two different racecourses.
Lucky First, out of the Sadler's Wells mare Dragon Fly, won in his career debut at Rostov-on-Don Hippodrome.
Zimniy Dvorets won the Summer Prize Stakes, considered a Group 2 event in Russia, at the Central Moscow Hippodrome. Zimniy Dvorets is out of the multiple stakes winner Stolen Prayer, by Songandaprayer.
