Gainesway Announces 2014 Stud Fees; Tapit's Fee Raised to $150,000
Gainesway announced its 2014 fees for its seven-stallion roster on Thursday.
The farm's benchmark stallion, Tapit, the sire of 11 individual Grade 1 winners and 4 Breeders’ Cup winners has had an unparalleled season at the sales, becoming the top sire by gross of 2013 U.S.-based yearling sales. His yearlings averaged $402,243 with a median of $317,500.
The farm stated that it is determined to offer breeders the best possible value in stud fees during the economic recovery.
