New York College Students Send Out Winning Horse At Finger Lakes

Students in the Morrisville State College Thoroughbred racing program were rewarded with their first winner of the season June 9 when Don't Back Down wired the field to win at Finger Lakes Racetrack.

According to the Morrisville State Courier, MSC's Thoroughbred program offers a summer option where students can gain experience racing horses they have worked with at Finger Lakes. The college has won several races there in the past.

Don't Back Down is trained by Dr. Clyde Cranwell, director of the program.
