Chris McCarron amuses on NPR’s ‘Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!’
Hall of fame jockey Chris McCarron, who now trains jockeys at the North American Racing Academy in Lexington, was a guest on the “oddly informative news quiz” show, “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me,” which aired Saturday on NPR.
The show, which normally emanates from the Chase Auditorium in Chicago, was taped live Thursday night at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.
McCarron played a game called "On your marks, get ready, squirm!" during which he was asked three questions about different kinds of racing (other than horse racing) around the world. Host Peter Sagal called it “the game where we invite on people who are simply the best at what they do… We invite them on to do something else!”
