Churchill jockeys visit children's hospital for meet-and-greet
The Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville was the benefactor of a visit from over a dozen jockeys from Churchill Downs' jockey colony on Friday. Among the visitors were Calvin Borel, Corey Lanerie and Shaun Bridgmohan.
“We come here, it makes the kids feel really good. It kind of brings back into perspective of, we don't see this every day. You kind of forget about it. It kinda brings you back to reality,” Corey Lanerie, spring meet riding leader, said.
