Eastham joins Darby Dan sales division
Veteran horseman Tommy Eastham has joined Darby Dan’s Division of Sales, effective immediately.
Darby Dan General Manager Robert Hammond commended Eastham’s horsemanship in making the announcement. “We are looking to build the strongest sales team possible and strengthen our customer service, and we sought out Tommy as a key anchor to our team,” Hammond said.
“Darby Dan’s Farm and Sales programs are having an exceptional year, led by Breeders’ Cup winner Perfect Shirl, top Championship contender Tizway, and homebred Grade 1 winner Winter Memories. We look forward to reaching even higher heights with Tommy’s tremendous sales experience and horsemanship.”
Eastham said “Darby Dan has been built on a tradition of excellence and innovation, and I am very excited at the opportunity to work with a visionary like John Phillips. The sales team that John has put together, of Robert, Renee Logan and myself, is a testament to John’s leadership.”
A top consignor at major auctions nationwide, Eastham has sold hundreds of stakes horses over the past five years, including 2011 Breeders’ Cup Champion Stephanie’s Kitten, Breeders’ Cup and Eclipse Champion Stardom Bound, and multiple Grade 1 winner Life At Ten.
