Aqueduct becomes New York’s top-earning racino by Paulick Report Staff|12.06.201112.06.2011|7:39am7:45am After more than a month in operation, the new casino at Aqueduct Race Track has become the top-earning racino in New York state, reports the New York Daily News. The Resorts World New York casino took in $9.9 million for the week ending November 26 – tops among the state's nine racinos – even though the Aqueduct facility has yet to open its second phase: “That means the fledgling Aqueduct edged out its significantly more established neighbor in Yonkers, Empire City, which made $9.8 million.” “What's amazing is how quickly they caught up to speed,” said Gordon Medenica, director of the Lottery. “They're doing a great job. We couldn't be happier.”
