Breeders’ Cup still planning to ban race-day meds for juveniles by Paulick Report Staff|02.27.201202.27.2012|1:16pm1:22pm The Breeders' Cup is still moving forward with a plan to ban race-day medication for 2-year-old events at the 2012 Breeders' Cup. Friday, the American Graded Stakes Committee said it would not be ready to implement a ban on race-day furosemide for juvenile races in 2012, but Breeders' Cup spokesman Jim Gluckson told the Daily Racing Form Monday the BC still plans to enforce the policy. “Currently we are not planning any changes to our medication policy for the 2012 Breeders' Cup World Championships,” Gluckson said.
