Charles Town Cancels Tuesday Card Due to Inclement Weather
Following the inclement weather it’s received, and is expected to receive over the next 12 hours, Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races has cancelled its live racing program for Tuesday, November 26. Charles Town will remain open for simulcasting throughout the day on Tuesday. Live racing at Charles Town will resume on Wednesday evening, with a 9 race, Thanksgiving Eve card that kicks off at 7:15pm EST.
In addition to live racing at Charles Town on Wednesday, fans can come out to the track to watch and wager on a pair of event cards at two other Penn National Gaming tracks as Zia Park plays host to its inaugural Land of Enchantment Day, featuring the $300,000 Zia Park Oaks and $200,000 Zia Park Derby, and Penn National presents the Thanksgiving Eve Racing Festival, highlighted by the $250,000 Fabulous Strike Handicap and an All-Stakes Pick 4 covering the first four races on the card. Zia’s Wednesday races get underway at 2:15pm EST, with post time for Penn National’s first race slated for 6:00pm EST.
