Ascot Racecourse

The appearances of undefeated superstars Frankel and Black Caviar will bookend what promises to be a superb week of racing that starts Tuesday, June 19, at Royal Ascot.

The five-day race meeting, which runs through Saturday, June 23, will bring together some of the best horses in the world. Frankel will get things started in the first race on Tuesday, the Queen Anne Stakes (Eng-I), which is the first of three group I races on the card.

So You Think and Cirrus des Aigles are set to clash in Wednesday's Prince of Wales's Stakes (Eng-I) over ten furlongs. So You Think will be trying to turn the tables on the French raider, who had the Aussie superstar's number in the Qipco Champion Stakes (Eng-I) last October. Those two will likely be joined by The Queen's Carlton House, who made a successful return to the races last month when winning the Betfair Brigadier Gerard Stakes (Eng-III) at Sandown.

Last but not least, the 'Wonder from Down Under', Black Caviar, will likely make her only European appearance when she lines up in the Diamond Jubilee Stakes (Eng-I) on Saturday. The Peter Moody-trained mare is undefeated in 21 starts, and has been pointed to Royal Ascot all season.
