Private aviation company Wheels Up announced Thursday that they had entered into a sponsorship deal with Triple Crown contender American Pharoah and his connections. Wheels Up joins Monster as companies sponsoring the bay colt this Saturday.
According to Business Wire, the Wheels Up brand will be the sole logo on jockey Victor Espinoza's pants for Saturday's Belmont Stakes, and the company will have a presence at other Triple Crown-related events throughout Saturday.
“We are excited to add American Pharoah and Jockey Victor Espinoza to our growing list of Wheels Up Ambassadors. They are in great company with other Member Ambassadors including Rickie Fowler, J.J. Watt, Kirk Herbstreit and Erin Andrews,” said Kenny Dichter, founder and CEO of Wheels Up. “Once people start to wear the Wheels Up colors, the magic happens; winners fly Wheels Up.”
