Bellafina To Remain In Training For 2020, Withdrawn From Fasig-Tipton November Sale
Multiple Grade 1 winner Bellafina, who finished second in Saturday's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Santa Anita Park, will be withdrawn from the Fasig-Tipton November Sale and remain in training for a 2020 campaign.
The decision was announced Sunday morning via the Twitter account of Hill 'n' Dale Farms, which was slated to consign the 3-year-old Quality Road filly on Tuesday at the Fasig-Tipton November sale in Lexington, Ky.
“I love racing and Bellafina is a joy to me and my family," a statement from owner Kaleem Shah read in a Hill 'n' Dale tweet. "She ran a great race yesterday deserves to get another opportunity to win a Breeders' Cup race next year.”
